First when I used it for a first time I was disappointed as dust was all over the place! This tiny container didn't help much - there was tons of dust seriously. I wasn't impressed with their sand sheets either.
But now I removed this dust box and attached the mouse sander straight to the hoover with Gorilla tape (I tried with usual protective tape for painting - worked great too) - no more dust at all! I tried some other brands of sand sheets, today tried Amazon brand " Umi. " and they're the best - and quality and price. A little bit bigger than the sander - but it's even better this way as protects the plastic edges of sander and prolongs it's life. Dust goes straight to the working hoover as I said. The work is such a pleasure now - nice, clean and easy.
I highly recommend this product, if this one will be worn out - I'll get the same exact model for sure.

We were looking to add some woodworking to our range of craft work which we run from the Kabin in the garden. Fairly recently my wife bought me a new orbital sander and although very useful for many jobs I really needed a detail sander to get into awkward spaces. Being very happy with my Tilswall orbital sander I decided to look and see if they had a mouse detail sander so here we are. It is every bit as solid and well made as my other sander and it is small and the grip makes it very easy to hold and allows me to manoeuvre into tight areas. This model is so easy to use and as a bonus also comes with a supply of sand sheets and has a built in dust collection system. I am now converted from big well known names and big prices as both these sanders from Tilswall as excellent and really give me a good finish and are very well priced.

So having read a few reviews this one seemed to be top pick so decided to give it a try, I am disabled and need something to make short work of sanding plaster walls, wood floor & stairs.

This unit is a little heavy for my really bad side and the power button is quite stiff a softer switch would have been good or some kind of cut out in case its dropped.

However in little over an hour I'd managed to sand 2 walls and the window surrounding before I couldn't hold it anymore, sadly the velcro got clogged with dust and wouldn't stick anymore but it otherwise was fine so hopefully can wash some of the out and see if it will stick again otherwise that's a bit of a design flaw with this type of sander and maybe a sander with a bolt or some other method of attaching the sheets?

And as always with these things regardless of the dust catcher it kicks out a lot of dust so where a filter mask and goggles if working at eye level , and make sure the windows are open and doors to elsewhere in the house are sealed!

So all in all am happy enough with my purchase, if it makes light work of the stairs I'll be over the moon with the amount of effort saved.

i was doubtful it will be a good machine but to my surprise it works much better than my moussie from black and decker. It's ok noise wise. Pleasure to work with as it doesn't need hoover attached to collect dust and it way lest dust in the air than from my other one. Good for small and large projects.

the sander came with pads already to use out of the box. they are standard size pads so they can easily get replacements from a local hardware store. the dust extractor works pretty well but still, a bit of dust is produced so I still recommend covering whatever is needed in the room that you are working in but its a million times better than not using one. I found that the vibrations feedback is not too intense and is designed well. nice and solid made all round.

Tested it on a cabinet tabletop and edges so far and it works as youd expect. The top handle part is made of the soft rubber material which makes it a bit more comfortable to hold while its vibrarting since it dampens them a bit. Uses standard universal velcro sanding pads so you can buy pretty much any brand sanding pads you want including the very cheap bulk packs. Comes with 2 levels of grit sandpaper already but i'll be buying a pack from somewhere to get more levels. Packaging is decent. Just a small cardboard box with a small booklet so theres no exessive waste.

This is my first sander of this type. The dust collector is hard to get on and off and not that effective. There is still a lot of dust that gets everywhere. The sanding pads lose cohesion before they have outlived their sanding ability. They start moving around or simply fall off when the pad is hardly used. I don't know if this is a problem with this type of sander or this model. It sands perfectly well, speeds the whole process and I was pleased with the results. The only problem was that I had a pile of perfectly useable sanding pads that would not stay attached to the device.
