Although self-driving cars remain a afar reality for the Indian roads, a Mumbai-headquartered firm has become the first desi company to develop high-precision HD maps for a client in the U.s. which is at the forefront of autonomous vehicle engineering science.

Established in 1995, Genesys International Corporation Ltd has completed an all-encompassing Hard disk drive mapping of road and street network for an autonomous driving project in North America that will enable residents to access self-driving taxis at their doorstep.
